The fastest way to reach Expats HK is email: ask@expats.hk. One person reads that inbox, so a specific subject line gets a faster answer than a general one.

These get priority. Send the URL and the specific claim that is wrong, ideally with a source. Rents, visa practice and which places are still open change quickly in Hong Kong, and residents notice long before a guide does.

We work with a small number of travel affiliate programmes and are open to more, but not to paid placements, sponsored posts, link insertions, or guest posts. Those requests are declined without reply, so please save yourself the follow-up.

Quoting a page is fine with a link. Our own text is not licensed for republication in bulk. Photographs on the site are used under their individual Creative Commons licences and are not ours to relicense: the credit on each image names its author and licence, which is where permission has to come from.
